The fee is $ 12.00 for adults and $6.00 for children under 12. They also rent beach carts for $10 per day. The carts are said to be large enough for an igloo cooler some chairs and what not. You ... We live at Lake Travis, near Austin, and go boating and swimming as much as possible in the summers. We take a couple of trips down to PA every year and just slum on the beaches, setting up a canopy off of Beach Access Road 3 and hanging out on the beach for 4 or 5 days straight, basically alternating between swimming and napping. The Reef would be placed in 20 foot deep water. For us approximated 500 yards off the beach. Quite a paddle. BUT even a three foot swell would produce some excellent belly high waves. Both lefts and rights. A nice peak for easy take offs and a deeper area in the middle in case someone eats it on the take off. The wave would peel approximately 100' yards and then diminish.
