Man, I did not take off to surf in the Lake of Mexico. Where's the swell???

we should see waves by mid day....

noaa had forecasted waves for over night last night and that did not happen.

swell IS coming today...

ill post up when it shows rideable...

i have seen early indicators this morning...little waves showing now more than the last 3 days...

Well we camp surfed today and it was worth it. Got really good with that rain around 5 today. Waves had really good form and was pretty clean at 5. 4-6:00 today was a blast. Hope to get some more next week. Thanks for all the updates Chris. You were on the money man.

BIG WAVES DOESNT NECESSARILY MEAN THAT THE WAVES WILL HAVE GOOD FORM...

GOOD FORM IS EVERYTHING TO ME...SO I PERSONALLY WILL GO OUT WHEN THE FORM IS GOOD AND MOST LIKELY NOT GIANT.

the 90 mile bouy and the 45 mile bouy are both in the nieghborhood of 3.6 ft.

which means there is no ground swell yet...

and it normally takes around 9 hours to get here once it shows on the bouys...

ground swell may get here in the morning...but it may not get here til later inthe day...

again, about 9 hours after the bouys start to show we should see swell at the coast...this is of course an approximation.
