If you follow that link it should show you a t-shirt that is on sale at the TX Surf Museum in CC. Look down in the general region of Kingsville. There is a red dot (denoting a surf spot) close to Kingsville and the name above it says Riviera Beach....it is inland on the west side of the barrier island....is there a possibility of surf there?
Might be worth a quick jaunt to check it out.

That is on Baffin Bay...i have never heard of any sizeable surf there. Maybe 1-2'
