Subject: Looking for Surf Wed Oct 01, 2008 2:40 pm
Houstonian here looking for a little surf. My surf spots are wiped out from Ike so I'm thinking of hitting the road for a day trip in Port A this weekend. I've surfed Horace Caldwell a few times and found it to be fun and the people good.
Any solid predictors out there, buoys or otherwise? I notice the report says maybe some this weekend, maybe not until Monday/Tuesday.
Any input is appreciated.

saturday and sunday should be rideable to some extent
monday and tuesday have more size with a chance for some ok "real" waves , so to speak..
this is based solely on computer forecasts..
if you are stuck with the weekend only..then sunday looks better than saturday at this point..meaning> if you only have one day to surf and you have to choose between the 2..id choose sunday at this moment..
