| chest bumpy, sandy .. blowin is to start subsiding and the wind field extends some 300 miles out so next week we should have cleaner, all be it smaller-better surf

| Headed out to the island mid afternoon, figured North Packy would be the place. I was right. Big, for me, and really nice. I actually flirted with barrell twice, it was awesome! After about 2 hours I was in heaven. Then I saw the rogue. It was like a double bubble, I started paddling, and I got pulled up, to the top, just before it broke. When it did, I was just poppin up, I got slammed over the falls.  I landed on my head. Ive got a nasty brush burn on my dome, and a really tight neck today. Beautiful !!! Lesson learned. Headed back for more rogue wave action, Yo!. Will update todays adventure later... Share the Stoke.  | |
