Since the early 70's Bing Bonzers have been shaped in a variety of tails and lengths. The principle behind the Bonzer design is to create a
"Venturi Effect" This Venturi (in the back third of the board) reduces the drag and subsequently increases the Boards acceleration. Its done with Dual Concave channels in the tail. The lower third of the board is also considerably wider than most shapes. This produces more lift in the tail, which makes it easier to catch a wave. Particularly in mushy conditions. It also increases floatation. This means those biggers dudes can surf a shorter , more maneuverable board ! The Bonzer fins are located in the same position as a Thruster or Fish which makes the board grip in hollow waves as well. Check the link below. Perhaps Chris will have some in the shop.

we are certainly entertaining the idea of these boards..

it seems at the moment that these boards are in high demand and will be somewhat difficult to get.

we are doing our best to get thier attention and working on bringing some in to the new shop...but it may not happen as quickly as we would like...

thanks for the post.
ideas are always welcome
