we will have rideable surf...friday, sat and sunday...
friday being the biggest of the 3 days..
but still rideable...
we talking waist to chest still?
oh and can you post me some links to some good places to check buoy thingys and good stuff please? lol
i hope i have said this before....as i do NOT want to make nayone angry or dissappointed, i usually under-estimate the surf a bit.
certainly the surf today was bigger than waist to chest...
i try not to embellish the surf reports so that if someone drives 3 hours or more(as an example) they get here and the tide changed, the wind changed...swell starts to drop..>>> i have not let them down..i am trying to be frank about the surf..and at the same time...not anger anyone who has to travel a long distance...that being said..
tomorrow>based on the bouys tonight...the surf "should" be near the waist to chest range in the morning...i dont think the size will last the entire day..i think the surf will drop a bit more in the afternoon..
morning till noon may still have some good size...
still should be surfable in some manner on sat. and sunday...merely loggable..but still it is surf in the summer...
i have to dissagree about magic seaweed...
forecasting is somewhat of a joke..especially for novices like me(only god knows)..i am not a trained expert///i prefer not to forecast at all...and just report what i see and or what i surfed...
surf the wunderground site...and the storm junkie site...tons of links..
the national hurricane center has been VERY on track with dean thus far..
PLEASE PRAY FOR DEAN TO GO AWAY FROM THE TEXAS COAST...
THIS STORM WILL BE VERY DISTRUCTIVE...WAVES ARE FUN...BUT LIVES AND PERSONAL PROPERTY ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT..
