Surf is now waist high with some chest high peaks. Very diorganized.
The wind has slowed down a bit so the slop and chop may improve
The tide is VERY high.
I heard tales of bigger waves and better waves down the road on north padre. From earlier in the day.
Surf should still be on tomorrow,,,just hoping it straightens out some.

surf is bigger now...chest plus in many places...but still a lot of chop...
maybe tomorrow will clean up some...

Can't sleep.
Checking by the pier and moonlight.
Surf is waist high plus.
Some chest high waves.
Pretty choppy but may be fun inspite of the chop.
Wind will be a faactor most of the day in terms of what kind of form we have. Surf will stay pretty choppy unless the steady east to southeast wind slows down a bit.
Noaa forecast was saying that saturday night the wind will slow down which may provide for cleaner surf on Sunday morning.
