i can't surf @ home(port A.) anymore(living landlocked) but even flat days- paddle a longboard for an hour or 2- like wind sprints- ya gotta keep in shape & being winter- it releases all those negative vibes... try this- paddle out to the end of the pier & back to the fish cleaning stand(the inside)& back out fast & hard- act like yer in a contest- 10 waves in 15 mins- ya can't surf "pipe" on no practice.....so go paddle man- keep the "wings" up- that'll keep ya in shape for the good days
