dallas

hey,
so im a canuck surfer and im gonna be in dallas for a week and im wonderin what my options are (if any) for surf or even just a nice beach. any info would be appreciated including shuttle info and if its possible for a day trip from dallas. I'm sorry to ask this question and i dont expect any secret spots to be revealed, i just wanna take my girl surfing or at least to a beach(we're farmer folk and shes never been to the ocean). also i tried searching the forum and other forums and couldnt find an answer

From Dallas it will be a pretty good hop to get to a beach.....Galveston comes to mind as well as Surfside for surfing! Port Aransas is farther down the beach and is just north of Corpus. Wish you the best and hope you get to catch a wave or two!
