Has anyone been to s. padre on a northern swell... I have the next 3 days off and a new years surfing roadtrip would be a perfect way to start out the new year. The bouy forecast says 12-14 ft.....

IF YOU GO DOWN THERE YOU SHOULD CONSIDER DRIVING AROUND TO THE BOCA CHICA SIDE OF THE JETTIES...
THE SOUTH PADRE SIDE WILL BE SLOPPY MOST LIKELY...
THE OTHER SIDE COULD BE REALLY GOOD..TOMORROW OR THURSDAY... HAVE FUN
