6 pm
front finally hit about an hour ago..
offshore/sideshore winds..
never really cleaned up and turned on the way we like it...
surf was fair at best..
forecast shows some swell left over in the morning...and wind is not supposed to kill it...
hope for more lined up conditions in the morning..
1:15 pm
i just walked to the end of the pier
wind is backing off some now..and surface chop is going away..
surf is waist to chest on inside bars..
chest to solid shoulder outside past the end of the piers in the area..
longboards seem to be best today so far as the waves arent punchy.
surf is decent form/fair...
as the incoming tide push begins...(anytime now) the surf should gain a little punch.
overall> looks fun...fair form...a little slow moving..but fun..
good size
good morning!
8:30 a.m.
surf is chest plus...breaking outside past the end of the pier.
tide is way out this morning and doesnt look too fun.(yet)
as tide begins to come back in mid-day surf could get fun with some size.
wind is not to stiff this morning but definately onshore...hope forecasters are correct as they call for an offshore wind late today from about 3pm onward...if that occurs, combined with incoming tide..surf could get real fun before dark.
also tomorrow morning has great potential to be good with leftover swell and reasonably light ne winds...
surf is bigger than i have seen it in a while
...now lets just hope it shapes up a little bit.
have a great day!!!
p.s. there will be surf all day.
if i had to pick a window of time today to surf, i would surf from about 3 til dark...just speculating of course.
