monday 1-21-08 port a. surf noon update

noonish.

big surf is coming in still seems to be a bit disorganized...
but from the beach...it is better than 8 this morning...big waves...but looks a little more surfable than earlier..as the tide is turning around...swell is fillling in some more...
still think it will get better as the day progresses...it probably wont get real good form with the stiff onshore winds..but should be better and more surfable...solid chest plus surf...

Good Morning!
surf is chest to shoulder high...and bigger way outside past the end of the pier.
we have morning sickness with low tide this morning and surf is disorganized.

good chance the surfable waves may improve with incoming tide...so from 11am/noonish,,,,onward there may be an improvement..and should be..as high tide is very late this afternoon...

again..big surf and disorganized this morning...should shape up a litlle, but not a whole lot as the swell is 10.5' offshore and our beaches dont hold swells that big very well with onshore flow...

pleanty of surf today....and looks like surf the rest of the week...
tomorrow may be a bit better as wind forecasts are for lighter onshore winds..

get some if you can..but dont need to catch the morning surf at this point..

and messy...im trying to get a first hand look but dont have any help right now at the store...so i cant drive over there right now..

just had a phone call from someone looking at it..and sound the same..
chest to shoulder..some head high sets that you can see..

waves are breaking way past the end of the pier...and it is foggy...so its hard to see way outside...

supposedly only a couple of cars that are parked in the area that may be surfers vehicles...basicly no one out...

its big and messy and cold

i realized though, many people are looking and cant see anything...so i decided to blab about the surf even more than normal since the cam is down..
