Hows it going? My name is Chris and I am new to the forum.

I was born and raised in Corpus and just moved to San Antonio with my wife and 3 year old little girl in October for a new job. It has been incredibly tough being landlocked for the first time in my life. I still check the webcams, and surf reports for a small sense of normalcy.

I have been looking at pics of the last swell and it looks like you guys got it pretty good. I am coming in town this weekend and have been praying for some surf. I hope the forecast holds true, my gills are drying up.

Anyways I look forward to talking with you guys. I hope we all get some this weekend. Very Happy

thanks for chiming in.

glad u are here..there..

sorry you had to move though.

we hope and pray everyday that our business works out..so we dont have to move someday..

business is good during the summer..fall and winter are very difficult...

come on spring break!!! bounce

surf should be fun..at least have a little size...bring a longboard just in case it is smaller than expected...all the forecasts are a bit all over the place...

i lived in houston for 46 years and know what it is like to be away from the beach....i/ are trying to make this work so we dont ever have to leave...

there is nothing like the beach life..and certainly no words can describe what it is like....sorry you had to move....

again...welcome.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Chris you were right as you are a majority of the time when it comes to the surf report.

Got a good session in Saturday did a little drift at the Wall. It was closing out a litle but it was a beautiful day and I was with family and friends so i cant complain. Felt so good to be back in the water. Had the biggest smile on my face watching my little girl play in the sand again, and of course i couldnt keep her out of the water. She is already talking about surfing with daddy, and i love hearing that.

Thought about hanging around until Monday, and it looks like the pictures are telling me i made a mistake not.

Overall it was a great weekend, makes me want to move back home.

Heading to Sea World this weekend to hang out with Shamu. Got some season passes and the little one is stoked.

I hope everybody had a great week and has a great weekend.
