surf is chest to shoulder high..

HEAD HIGH PLUS SETS WAAAAAY OUTSIDE BUT V.A.S.(VICTORY AT SEA)

very choppy with sse wind at 20-25 knts..gusting 30...

due to the hard gusty wind it will be difficult to find clean waves today..

definately surfable ,,,,but very choppy

surf will most likely stay this way all day today..

sandfest starts tomorrow and runs thru this sunday here in port a.

good family weekend here in town..

surf could get interesting on friday with frontal passage...

also, texas state surfing championships are on call for thie weekend on south padre island...contest will be called on or off on friday,,based on surf condition forecast for saturday on south padre island..

if you surf today, be prepared for a workout...very bumpy..
