So I am pondering a little road trip to Port A this weekend. What do you think the surf forecast will be for Saturday? I'm off of work Friday at noon, but only want to go if the trip will be worth it....especially since my trip in May was a bust and the only thing I got out of it was 2 weeks of Chiropractic care

For sure --- surf Saturday, but Friday will be bigger.
Right now NOAA forecasting 5-7' (Freeport to Matagorda) and a decreasing wind on Fri P.M. It's gonna downsize gradually, but will hold for Saturday, and then you can clean it up Sunday on perfect little thigh-waist slabs. As long as the pressure gradient doesn't let go.
