SHOULDER TO HEAD HIGH PLUS ON SETS..
GREEN WALLS
OFFSHORE WINDS..
SETS ARE GETTING BIGGER..
4 .am
looking in the dark...horace caldwell pier is waist high with some chest high sets(AT BEST).
SURF COMING UP MORE AROUND 11 OR 12 NOON,IT WILL BE SMALL THIS MORNING.
WHEN YOU GET UP THIS MORNING AND LOOK AT THE CAM, IT MAY NOT SHOW VERY WELL...
AS I COULD SEE BETTER SETS HITTING SOUTH OF THE PIER..WE HAVE A LONG JETTY AND SOME OF THE SWELL WILL MISS THE PIER AND WONT SHOW ON THE CAMERA WELL SOMETIMES.
lined up clean..
light offshore winds.
it is small this morning.
surf will build through the morning hours into the afternoon most likely.
SIZE MAY LAND LATE TODAY.(NOONISH OR AFTER)
nothing giant here but we should see good shoulder to head high surf today as the full force of the swell is not here yet...
mansfield and the surfside bouys are in the 3.6 foot range right now...we wont see much till hours AFTER those bouys rise...so surf with size may be later today..
FOR NOW IT IS RIDEABLE AND CLEAN AND WILL BE FUN ON LONGER BOARDS UNTIL OR UNLESS THE BIGGER SWELLS GET HERE LATER TODAY.
GUSTAV IS LANDING IN LOUSIANNA IT APPEARS RIGHT NOW...
HOPE WE ALL GET GOOD SURF BEFORE THE SUN GOES DOWN....
PRAY FOR THOSE IN THE PATH OF THE HURRICANE CENTER AND FOR PROPERTY PLEASE...
5:00 A.M.
JUST CHECKED THE BOUYS AND THE 90 MILE BOUY IS NOW AT 4.6 FEET...SO SWELL IS ON THE WAY..BUT NOT HERE YET...IT IS COMING...AND ON THE RISE..FINALLY
