Thursday Surf 11-6-08 Update

The wind has switched in Rockport. Port a winds are also light offshore. It is cleaning up NOW..!

The wind, she's a blowin !

The surf is chest high plus , but not the best of form. There are some waves lined up, but its bumpy. Winds forecasted to be 15-25 southerly.

So there should be some continued building, hopefully on Friday morning it could clean up if we get a short period of offshore winds.

Its to clock around rapidly back to onshore , so there will be surf for the weekend.

North Packery would be where I would look first.

Front thru S.A. this morning, would expect it to come through the middle coast later today...keep a weather eye!

The local weather guys are sayin its gonna stall and slowly come thru...

But we call the guy " Dead Wrong Dale" for a resaon :

maybe clean up some today in the afternoon..

i saw a forecast for the onshore winds to slow down..

im in amarillo..

be back at the shop tomorrow late.

wind is light and variable occasionally offshore right now @10am thurs

weak sauce... but it sure beats a day at work!
