Surf this weekend 11/15-16

Major cold front blowing through this weekend

The surf report is showing for significant swell and offshore winds.....

opinions?

Depends on when the front hits and how hard. If it hits overnight with a strong enough wind it could be flat in the am. With strong fronts the opportunity for good surf is sometimes really narrow. If the surf holds and the wind is still howling in the am it's hard to drop in. At least for this 125 lb chicka!
I was also blown over while trying to get my board to the car one time when I didn't wait for the wind to die enough. It caught me and my 9'2" and picked us both up, dropped us so I got a nice hip bruise, and then picked back up and I flipped head over heels ( I was on the ground at this point) while still holding my board. I pulled all kinds of muscles in my neck. If I didn't get so hurt I would have laughed harder at the time. It's pretty funny to think of And they say Chicago is the windy city...ha!

I picked up a pair of Hurley board shorts for $25. Very nice. By the way, with the offshore wind the waves had a beautiful face with the curl just cleanly running down the wave. The downside, it was only a foot high. The greatest little wave you've ever seen.
