PostSubject: board rental   board rental EmptyFri Apr 13, 2007 8:42 am

Hi,
My 16 year old daughter is a novice surfer, had some lessons last year and did pretty well. We might drive down this weekend. Any ideas where to rent a board or get lessons? Probably won't be down until early afternoon. Any tips would be appreciated. Oh also, will a wetsuit be necessary? She is a swimmer and can tolerate some cold water.
Thanks,
Tracy

sorry for the delay..ive been running hard..

we hope to rent boards in the neighborhood of 25 bucks a day...

soft boards as well as some epoxy boards

also hope to have boards that sell at retail UNDER 400 bucks..

i/ we understand the issues of providing for a family and the costs involved..we want our store to be family freindly and have reasonably affordable boards when possible(entry level boards). we will fo course have other more advanced boards as well...thank you..i hope this helps

That is a much better price than Galveston. Summer rates started in early May at $75 a day! And some shops only rent soft tops.

Hey Chris,

What brand of soft top boards do you rent out. I rode one last weekend and it was not at all what I expected. I was figuring on some mushy, flighty, no tracking hunk of pink foam......I was pretty impressed. I would be interested in buying one for both my girlfriend and visitors who stay with us to use. You certainly wouldn't find Wingnut cruising something like that, but it is an easy ride and any beginner should have no problem surfing those things.

You also mentioned some really good prices on some of your longboards, what brand are they. I truly don't care.....If I float I'm happy, but I'm just curious

in-t is one brand..made in california

the other brand is doyle...made in china

you used the in-t

the boards are very new saw no mushy stuff yet..

as for inexspensive surfboards..i have the ABSOLUTE LEAST EXSPENSIVE SURFBAORDS IN THE COASTAL BEND...THEY ARE CHINA BOARDS..SO DOES MY COMPETITION..
MY PRICES ON CHINA BOARDS ARE THE BEST ANYWHERE IN PORT A. AND IN CORPUS ..HANDS DOWN...
I DO NOT HAVE BUYING POWER..I HAVE A BELIEF..I BELIEVE BOARDS SHOULD BE PRICED A CERTAIN WAY..AND I STICK TO MY OLD SCHOLL METHOD OF PRICING BOARDS...

MOST LIKELY I HAVE THE MOST FAIR PRICES AROUND..

FOR SURE MY PRICES ARE THE BEST ON CHINA BOARDS..WHICH COME IN VARIOUS DISGUISES>> DIFFERENT LABELS AND BRANDS..

I CAN SELL A 9'0'' FOR 435.00 BUCKS...

GLAD YOU ARE SATYSIFIED...I HOPE YOU ARE
